Lock Stock + Barrel has operated in Brisbane for more than ten years, and in that time we’ve successfully built a strong reputation for finding the perfect location to meet every need, every time.

Lock, Stock + Barrel is recognised for our exceptional locating scouting and film production support locally and internationally.

One of the major advantages we have over our interstate colleagues is the diverse range of locations within only one hundred kilometres of our Brisbane office. These locations range from pristine white-sand beaches, tropical islands and rainforest waterways, to million-dollar view penthouses and busy interlocking freeways, city bridges and windy back country roads.

Our sub-tropical climate also works to your advantage, with close to 250 days of sunshine a year. There’s no other place quite like it on Earth.

Our locations database expands exponentially each month, and our image bank currently contains over 500,000 photos.

Lock Stock + Barrel provides comprehensive production services for television commercials, advertising stills shoots and all types of film and television production. Our experienced team provide facilitation, production management, casting, location scouting and management, on-set support and traffic management.

Our core business (specialising in locations) has been established for nearly ten years. We have one of the largest, most current and diverse location databases in Australia. We have a detailed knowledge of city and country locations in Queensland, Northern NSW and the Northern Territory, and an intimate knowledge of New Zealand and Fiji. As far as locations go, from houses to highways and everything in between, we've got it covered.

We have extensive overseas experience in scouting, film production and management. Lock Stock + Barrel have completed film shoots in Australia, Germany, New Zealand, Fiji , The Cook Islands, Papua New Guinea, Kenya, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Russia, USA.

While advertising dominates our work, at Lock Stock we also have years of experience working in drama and feature films, with companies from Europe to the UK, Asia, Australia and the USA.
